Justin has been part of the insurance industry and Ck Specialty since 1999. In 2021, Justin and Yana Connors purchased Ck Specialty Insurance Associates, Inc. becoming the sole owners. In 2021 under their leadership, Ck made investments in techology and our management to enable us to scale and break through to a best-in-class delegated authority, contract binding authority, and wholesale brokerage operation. Justin has been focused on technology improvements as well as our London supported delegated authority products. Today Justin continues to serve as the company’s Chairman and President.
Justin attended St. John's College and San Jose State University.
Yana joined Ck Specialty in 2004 as an insurance technician and embarked on a path to learn wholesale insurance business from the ground up. She served as Executive Vice President prior to becoming Chief Executive Officer in 2021. Yana’s leadership approach is all about empowering others, especially women, to build their own success. She is genuinely enthusiastic about the insurance industry and has a passion for developing new industry talent.
Yana is past president of Silicon Valley Independent Brokers Association; Yana is currently serving as a committee member with the Wholesale Specialty Insurance Association (WSIA) and she is the current president of the California Insurance Wholesale Association (CIWA) and former CIWA Executive Board member. Yana earned a bachelor’s first-class honors degree from Stavropol State University.
